Who this service is for

Who this is for

  • Equipment makers adding remote monitoring to their machines
  • Irrigation and agricultural businesses that need remote pump and valve control
  • Integrators connecting field equipment to apps and dashboards

Problems it solves

  • Site visits just to check whether equipment is running
  • No alert when a pump, motor or machine stops or faults
  • No data log to understand failures
  • Remote control that is unsafe when communication drops

Scope

What’s included

  • Connected edge devices and controllers
  • IoT gateways and device communication
  • GSM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth LE and 433 MHz RF connectivity, chosen for the installation site
  • Industrial interfaces: Modbus RTU and TCP, RS485, CAN and Ethernet
  • Android apps and web dashboards (MQTT, REST APIs) for monitoring and control
  • Alerts, data logging and scheduling
  • Safe remote control behaviour when connectivity is lost

What we need from you

  1. What needs to be monitored or controlled
  2. Connectivity available at site (mobile network, Wi-Fi or wired)
  3. How often data is needed and how long it should be kept
  4. Who should receive alerts, and how
  5. Existing equipment and controllers
  6. App or cloud preferences

What you receive

  • Connected device hardware and firmware (as scoped)
  • Gateway and cloud integration
  • Mobile app or dashboard (as scoped)
  • Alert and scheduling logic
  • Test results

Evidence and reading

Relevant experience

From our own products

Driptel controls pumps and valves over GSM with scheduling from a mobile application. Gardentel controls watering over Wi-Fi from an Android application and sends automatic notifications.

What a six-layer weighing board had to include

Four boards, a six-layer LPC1788 controller, RTOS firmware and cloud readout for weighbridges handling about 1,000 vehicle readings a day.

What to send with a first engineering enquiry

The short list Sai Agro Tel asks for before a first reply: what the device must do, where it will be used, the stage, and the quantity.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

Can’t find your answer? Ask the team directly.

Should my device use GSM or Wi-Fi?

It depends on where the equipment is installed. Driptel uses GSM for farm sites; Gardentel uses Wi-Fi for gardens. We choose connectivity based on your site.

Can you connect existing machines?

Tell us what equipment and controllers you already have. Retrofit monitoring and control is covered in our automation use-case article.

Do you build the app and dashboard too?

Yes — mobile apps and cloud dashboards are part of our IoT and remote monitoring work.
